Blackboard
The Blackboard
platform provides each instructor with an interactive Online Gradebook
for each course. You can view entries by user, by item (assignment), or
you can view a grid of all users and all items, called the Spreadsheet
View. To see an example of the Online Gradebook in Spreadsheet View click
here. To access your
Online Gradebook, log into a course for which you are an Instructor and
click the Control Panel button at the bottom of the left-hand navigation
menu in the course. Choose Online Gradebook from the Assessments section
of the Instructor's Control Panel (the middle left section) and then choose
which view you'd like to work with. To view the results
of a computer-graded assessment, simply click the score that the student
received. You will be able to see each answer the student provided and
their score. You can also reset an assessment attempt or give partial/extra
credit from here. To enter a score
for a teacher-graded assessment, simply click a student's name or an item
title and enter the number of points in the correct box. For more information
on the Online Gradebook, check the Online Gradebook section of the Blackboard
Instructor's Manual. ANGEL
To access the ANGEL gradebook, log into your ANGEL course, click the Manage tab, and click the "Gradebook" hyperlink. This will open the gradebook page. ANGEL's gradebook allows teachers the ability to enter/view student grades, change grading preferences, and import/export student grades. To learn about the gradebook setup wizard and other common gradebook items click the "Overview" link located under the "Gradebook Tutorial" heading.
Moodle
Teachers can access their online gradebook from within Moodle by using the "Grade" feature located in their "Administration" block. From the gradebook, teachers can use the tabs located at the top of the page to view grades, set preferences, set categories, set weights, set grade letters, and create grade exceptions. eCollege
To view your gradebook from within eCollege, click on the Gradebook tab located across the top of the eCollege course page. Teachers can then click the "Setup Gradebook" link to post comments for each grade, grant students additional test time, create new grading items, and view student progress throughout the course.
Some class.com courses include teacher-graded assessments worth 0 points
in the gradebook. These denote assignments that are required but not graded.
In other words, students are required to complete the assignment to the
Instructor's satisfaction but won't receive actual points towards a final
grade for the assignment. A zero is used to distinguish a completed assignment
from a
"-", which is present if the assignment has not been completed.
