This entry-level protocol course provides students with guidelines and information necessary to function in today's global and multiethnic environment. This course teaches students skills essential to maintaining successful business and personal relationships, such as cultural awareness, positive self-concept, leadership, and communication. After completing this course, students will be able to demonstrate how protocol and ethics will influence their business and personal lives; to recognize, identify, and understand the characteristics of and differences between business and personal life and behavior; and to apply and demonstrate leadership, communication, and listening skills in business and personal relationships.
