Math Level 2B

Through the course of Level II mathematics, students will determine relationships between and among fractions, and decimals; compare and order integers, and locate points on the coordinate plane; solve proportions and use proportions to convert from percents to fractions and decimals. Students will also become familiar with the use of variables to solve one- and two-step equations; classify angles, angle relationships, and two- and three-dimensional shapes; solve problems involving addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division of positive and negative integers; use measures of central tendency including mean, median, mode, and range; and find the approximate probability of compound events.
