Platform: iPad
Version: 2.14 and below
Issue: iOS users are no longer able to sign in using a Google account.
Workaround:
You will need to create a password for your Zoom account that is tied to Google.
This will allow you to use the Zoom sign-in as an alternative to signing in via Google.
To do this:
-
Sign out of your existing Zoom account.
-
Go to the Zoom sign-up page.
-
Enter your date of birth for verification.
-
Enter the email address that matches your Google sign-in.
-
Click Sign Up.
You will receive an email with sign-up instructions; click Activate Account. -
Enter your desired password twice.
-
Click Continue.
-
Click Go to My Account.
-
This will take you to the Profile page of the existing Zoom account. By Linked Accounts, it should now display your Google, Facebook, and/or SSO accounts, indicating that you can sign in with the same email address and password.
