Raise/Lower Hand | Users can raise and lower their hand. Once the instructor calls on a user, their hand will automatically be lowered. |
|
Not Verified | When a user that is not in the roster joins a class, they will join as a not verified user. Once verified, this icon will go away. |
|
Mic | This Mic icon allows you to turn your microphone on and off. |
|
Reactions | Users have the option to provide reactions and feedback that will display in the participant list and on their video panel. The reaction icon appears for learners on Class. Learners on Zoom will see it referred to as Feedback. |

Feedback | Users have the option to provide reactions and feedback that will display in the participant list and on their video panel. The feedback icon appears for learners on Zoom participating through the sidebar. Users on Class will see it referred to as Reactions. |

Breakout Rooms | Instructors have the option to open breakout rooms by selecting the Breakout button on the bottom toolbar. |

Video | This indicates that your video is turned on. |
|
Video Stop | This indicates that your video is turned off. |
|
Sidebar User | Indicating that the user has joined from regular Zoom and is using the Sidebar through a browser. |
|
Zoom User | This icon is displayed only to instructors to indicate when a learners joins via regular Zoom. |
|
Record | This indicates the option to record classes. This is only available to instructors. |
|
Share Screen | The share screen icon is available to both instructors and learners. Instructors will need to enable this option for learners to share their screens. |
|
Lose Focus | When a user minimizes the Class app when in a classroom, the instructor will see the eyes icon next to their name in the participant list to indicate the learner has lost focus. |
|
Gold Star | Instructors and TA's have the ability to provide users with gold stars that other users can see as well. |
|
Loading | Loading icon next to your name in the participants list will mean that you are waiting for the web-hook to connect. |
|
Waiting Room | A clock next to a participants name indicates they are waiting to be admitted from the waiting room. |
|
Person Talking | This icon will display in the participant panel next to the person who is talking. |
