iForward for Students FAQ

Last Updated: August 31, 2023

Overview & Highlights

Class is the virtual classroom tool that will be used for iForward programs for this upcoming school year. Included below are several tips and How To’s for working with Class.

For information on any feature or workflow that is not covered here, consult the Learner Guides.

For additional support, please reach out to Class’ customer support team using the links at the bottom of this page.

Installing Class

Class has downloadable applications available for Mac, Windows, and iPad. It is recommended that users on these devices download and join on these apps for all sessions. Users on Chromebook devices will be directed to a browser-based experience during the process of joining Classes.

If you have an iForward-managed computer, you will NOT need to install the app. This will be managed by iForward.

Students who are using their own computer to join iForward sessions can download Class by going to this link: https://iforward.class.com/react/download.

Installing Class on Windows

For a full walkthrough, consult the Windows install page.

Installing Class on macOS

The Class macOS app requires version 11 or higher of the macOS operating system.

For a full walkthrough, consult the macOS install page.

Installing Class on iPad

The Class iPad app is downloaded from the Apple app store.

For a full walkthrough, consult the iPad install page.

Joining Class Sessions

Key Information:

  • For all regularly scheduled class sessions, students should plan to join their session from Agilix Buzz;
  • For Office Hours and Clubs, students should expect to receive an invitation link or invitation email from their teacher;
  • Users on Chromebooks will be joining through their Chrome browser — NOT any of the downloadable applications;
