Annotations

Notes:

  • Annotation is not supported on iPad as of yet.

Annotations work very similarly to how it works on Zoom.

After sharing your screen, you can select the Annotate button on the floating toolbar to access the annotation tools

Clicking this button will open the Annotation floating toolbar. To drag, click on the bottom gray bar of the toolbar or the bottom left corner and hold the mouse while moving to move it around.

To close out of the Annotations toolbar, click the red :cross_mark: icon on the top left corner

Select any of the tools to start annotating on your shared screen. To choose a different annotation tool, you must right-click in order to be able to select another tool from the annotations toolbar

Participants viewing a shared screen will now be able to annotate on the screen and view other participants’ annotations in near real-time. Viewers can annotate by selecting View Options > Annotate

The annotations toolbar will open with tools options to:

  • Select an annotation
  • Free-draw an annotation or select specific shapes
  • Spotlight
  • Erase annotations
  • Change the color of drawing annotations
  • Change line width of the line annotation
  • Undo your last annotation
  • Redo your last undone annotation
  • Clear all of your annotations
  • Save annotations as a .pdf or .png file
    • Exported annotation files are stored in the meeting folder in your preferred directory where local recordings are stored. This can be changed from the Settings dialog:
