How to Create a Survey

1.

To create a survey, go into a classroom and select Teaching Tools. Underneath teaching tools, select Survey. A new window will open. Select Create New.

Another window will open where the instructor can create a new survey. The instructor can update the survey question and the description. Within the description, the instructor can add links, pictures, and/or a video recording to provide context for the survey.

The instructor can toggle the due date along with the privacy of the results. Auto number questions can be enabled and the instructor can chose to show participant names with their answers.

Scroll back to the top and select questions. Add the questions for the survey. The instructor can add more options by selecting ‘add an option’. Once ready, select Save on the bottom right of the page.

Once saved, select Launch, and the survey will appear in the attendee’s view.

Once launched, users will get a survey tab in the classroom and be prompted to submit answers to the survey.

7.

Once the survey is submitted, users will see live survey results.

8.

Select the three dots to edit, review, duplicate or delete the survey.

9.

The instructor will receive a message confirming to delete the survey. Select cancel or delete.

10.

Once on the survey editing page, select Reset Launch Status after editing any part of the survey. The instructor will now be able to launch the survey to the class again.
