How to join Class from the Web App

The following methods show how to join a Class session using the web app:


When user are launching the Class session from the meeting link, users should see an option to “Launch Class for Web”. Once clicked, users will be added to the Class session and will be able to participate alongside users from any of the downloadable Class apps or a standard Zoom client.


Users can also join by navigating in their browser to the Web App link:

  • When users “Join a Class” through the Web App link, they will be prompted to enter the meeting ID and passcode.
  • When users “Sign In” through the Web App link, they can join a Class session from their schedule, if they have been added to the Class roster.


If the school or institution is using the Class LTI tool within a Learn Management System, then users can also select the “Launch Class for Web” button within the Class LTI Tool to launch the Class Web App in their browser.
