Supported Operating Systems & Processor & RAM Requirements
- Mac OS – A minimum version of Big Sur 11.1 is required for Class version 2.5 and above
- For Class version 2.4 and below, a minimum version of Catalina 10.15
- Windows 10 and higher, Dual-core 2Ghz or higher, 4Gbs of RAM
- iPad OS 13.0 and higher
- Android 8 and higher, Intel and ARM processors, minimum screen size 600 dp
- Chromebooks manufactured after 2016 with access to the Google play store
Notes:

These all support instructor capabilities.
- We support Mac Minis.

We do not support Android phones or iPhones.

iPads and Android tablets currently are not supported in the use of the Web App.
- We require the Chrome Browser (v69 or higher) or the Edge Browser (v79 or higher) to use Web App
- Android 9 doesn’t have the ability to share audio in screen share, but Android 11 does
Bandwidth Requirements
The bandwidth used by Class will be optimized for the best experience based on the participant’s network. It will automatically adjust for 3G, WiFi, or wired environments.
Recommended bandwidth for meetings:
- For 1:1 video calling:
- For high-quality video: 600kbps (up/down)
- For 720p HD video: 1.2Mbps (up/down)
- For 1080p HD video: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down)
- For group video calling:
- For high-quality video: 1.0 Mbps/600kbps (up/down)
- For 720p HD video: 2.6Mbps/1.8Mbps (up/down)
- For 1080p HD video: 3.8Mbps/3.0Mbps (up/down)
- For gallery view receiving: 2.0Mbps (25 views), 4.0Mbps (49 views)
- For screen sharing only (no video thumbnail): 50-75kbps
- For screen sharing with video thumbnail: 50-150kbps
- For audio VoiP: 60-80kbps
