Overview:
Due to a bug with the Zoom SDK, users with multi-monitor setups can only annotate the main display. This article documents how to identify and change your main display for screen sharing and annotating in Class. Users with multi-monitor setups will be able to screen share and annotate their main display by following the steps below.
Workaround:
-
Right-click your desktop and select Display settings
- Identify your primary display by clicking the rectangles for each display. In the setup below, Display 1 is the primary monitor.
- To change the primary monitor to a larger display, select the larger display and check the option to Make this my main display.
- To annotate in Class, be sure to select the main display when screen sharing.
- When the screen share toolbar appears select Annotate. The annotation toolbar will appear and allow drawing on the display.
