  • Admins now have the option to add in a vanity URL prefix so that users in the organization will be able to sign-in to a specific version of Zoom when they launch their instance of Class

When instructors turn this on, it will be displayed for all participants and also provide participants the option to turn them off. Captions will be displayed in near-real time using voice-to-text. Currently only the English language is supported.

Bug Fixes

Included below are the fixes that were made to address known issues or to improve the overall stability of the product.

    • Fixed issue occurring when unverified users were able to communicate with verified participants
    • Fixed an issue where windows instructors couldn’t see Chromebook users’ screens from the All Breakout Room view
    • Fixed an issue where the sidebar did not resize correctly on Chromebook
    • Fixed issue where instructors and assistants were seeing an error message when creating activities for newer classes
    • Fixed issue where the “due by” date for a quiz was not fully displayed

Known Issues

Included below are the open issues that our team is actively working to address. An updated list of known issues will be published with our next release.

  • Instructors are unable to add an additional LMS to the LMS teaching tool
  • There are some inconsistencies with the chat permission settings, where verified students are unable to chat with everyone
  • Intermittent issues with duplicative chats being displayed
  • When creating several breakout rooms, the default names for the breakout rooms are numbered out of order
  • Files uploaded with titles in Japanese are displayed without a title

  • When an instructor creates a class from an LMS, the meeting is created under the Zoom Admin’s account and not the instructor’s admin account
  • Intermittently, participants can’t unmute or turn on video
  • Videos in the gallery intermittently flicker on some devices
  • Students intermittently receive errors when clicking on the Files activity as a student
Teaching Tools
  • After selecting the Test teaching tool, the activity is mislabeled as a Quiz in various places
  • Participant submission timestamps for activities are not matching their system’s clock
  • Instructors and assistants are not able to close the Assessment grading report via the button
  • Intermittently, polls are not populating for some student devices
