Annotations:

• Instructor support for managing annotation permissions

Audio/Video:

• Instructors will now have the ability to mute users unless called upon

Below are the high-priority bug fixes included in this release:

• Removed the option to make users a host or cohost of a session in some instances where it should not have been visible
• Addressed an issue where the Screen Share tab was not being closed if Breakout Rooms were closed while sharing was in progress
• Resolved an issue where participants and learners could still see tabs after they were closed by an instructor
• Fixed a bug where multiple class sessions could not be deleted from the Edit Class screen
• Addressed several issues related to course files
• Addressed an issue where participants were not able to join via zoom even though the “Allow participants to join in Zoom option is enabled”

Breakout rooms

• Instructor is not able to see the chat thread for a breakout room after joining and leaving it
• Issue where the Host/Co-Host labels in the Participant list disappear when breakout rooms are launched

Settings

• Statistics in the Zoom settings window are currently missing

Virtual backgrounds and filter

• Currently there is no option to select a “Blur” filter for your virtual background

General use

• Installing Class invalidates the Zoom SSO token, users navigating to their organizations zoom.us domain will be required to log in again
