Overview
This release includes several enhancements to specific features within Class, as well as fixes to several bugs identified by customers that also impact the web-based experience.
Zoom SDK Version: 2.5.0
Enhancements
- Added fields for user role and user email to participant detail export for the Class dashboard
- Instructors will now have the ability to send a calendar attachment (.ics) as part of inviting participants to Classes
- Users may now toggle the lock status of whiteboard elements
Bug Fixes
- Resolved an issue where polls and surveys were not appearing in Classes created from a template
- Resolve an issue where absent participants were not being shown in the participants panel
Known Issues
- In some instances, unverified users can see Screen Share content
- In some instances LMS pages do not launch
- In some instances, instructors are unable to mute students
- All content launched through the Browse the Web tool and web-based files launched through Share Files must be opened in an external tab; this will impact the Focus Time tracking for participants in the session
- Annotations and Remote Control are not available as part of the suite of Screen Share tools based on the limitations of the Zoom Web SDK
- The Participation View seating chart mode is not currently implemented in the web experience
- In some cases, Webapp users prompted only to join Breakout Group 1 when “allow participants to choose” is selected
