Important Notes: The Class Schoology LTI may not work using iPads. Please test your configuration.
Adding Class to Schoology (Admin)
1.
Open and log into Schoology [xxxxx].schoology.com on your web browser.
2.
In Schoology’s System Admin account, go to Tools.
3.
Go to Management > Integration.

In a different browser or browser window, log in and go to the Class Admin Portal then select the Integrations tab. You must have Admin permissions.

Create a new LTI Integration for Schoology. Give it a name so that you remember what the configuration is for.

Step 2: Locate the Key, Secret and URL that you will need to add to Schoology.

Using the options provided in the Class LTI configurator, copy the key, secret, and URL for the new LTI that you created and use that information to set up the LTI in Schoology.

Adding Class to a Schoology Course (Instructor/Teacher)

Open and log into Schoology [xxxxx].schoology.com on your web browser.
2.
Open your Schoology course.
3.
Go to your course Materials section.
4.
Click on Add Materials and select Add File/Link/External Tool.

5.
Click External Tool from the pop-up window.

6.
Select Class from the Tool Provider dropdown menu, add a title to inform students to enter your virtual class using the LTI, and click Submit.
- Note: The URL, Consumer Key, and Shared Secret sections should all read as “Custom”. If prompted, enter the Class launch URL in the URL field.

7.
Place the Class LTI to the top of your Course Materials section.
