For access to the MSI installer that can be run without administrative rights, please reach out to the services team at Class.

Please note:
- If the end user’s machine does not have the Windows Edge browser viewer installed, admin access is needed to install it. Microsoft is coming out with a version of Windows Edge browser viewer that does not require admin access in January. If an end-user does not have access to the AppData folder, an admin should use the MSI to install on behalf of users.
- The MSI Class version 2.0.1 automatically has the software update registry setting disabled. When software updates are available, please install the newer version of the MSI posted above.
- The MSI installer version that does not require administrative rights will allow users without admin rights in their device to install updates
For installing in a different spot/directory:
- msiexec.exe /I “Class Installer.msi” INSTALLDIR=”<DIRECTORYPATH>” /qn
The Class Windows app can be installed using an MSI installer with the following settings:

Please Note:
- MSI installations require elevated administrative rights.
- The options /i, /x, /f[p|o|e|d|c|a|u|m|s|v], /j[u|m], /a, /p, /y and /z should not be used together. The one exception to this rule is that patching an administrative installation requires using both /p and /a. The options /t, /c and /g should only be used with /j. The options /l and /q can be used with /i, /x, /f[p|o|e|d|c|a|u|m|s|v], /j[u|m], /a, and /p. The option /n can be used with /i, /f, /x and /p.
Example: To install the Class MSI without any UI or input from the user, you can run the command “msiexec /i <nameofmsi>.msi /quiet /qn /norestart /log install.log”
