Windows: Screen Share Has Been Disabled by Host

Last updated: September 6th, 2022.

Platform: Windows

Version: All supported versions

Summary:

Sometimes an instructor may receive an error message saying that screen share has been disabled by the host, despite screen sharing being enabled in their Zoom and Class settings.

Configuration:

Check the Zoom setting to Disable desktop screen sharing for meetings you host, and make sure it is toggled off.

Having this setting toggled on will prevent users from sharing their full desktop. However, users will still be able to choose an application to share in Class.
