Welcome to Roll Call, a series where we’ll introduce members of the Class team from around the world. Class is made up of diverse, authentic, caring, and humble people who all have one thing in common; they want to change the way the world learns!
This week, we’re excited to introduce you to Sidra Tareen, a Senior Marketing Manager of Education, based out of Cambridge, MA.

Get to know Sidra a little more!
Q: Why do you love working at Class?
Oh, I love that Class hires great people that I get to work with every day.
Q: Are you a morning person or a night owl?
Night owl! But there’s nothing like a quiet early morning. I like being the first one awake when I don’t have to talk to a single soul and just get to spend time with myself.
Q: What was your first AIM screen name?
Mine was luckycharms790! Cereal has been my favorite food since I was a kid.
Q: What was your first job?
I was a “Sandwich Artist” at Subway!
Q: What song is on repeat for you right now?
You Can Call Me Al – Paul Simon
Q: What did you want to be when you grew up?
I changed my mind every week, but there were a few standouts that lasted a bit longer -Bunny breeder, movie director, hotel owner, and restaurateur, to name a few.
Q: What’s the best advice you’ve ever heard?
In high school, we had a tradition where the Seniors would give advice and appreciation to the rest of the school in an open mic forum. I will never forget one of the seniors I looked up to share her advice – “Take the compliment. Don’t add a caveat or make excuses, just say ‘Thank You'”
